Well our first time out at the carp tourney turned out to be less than perfect but all the same, it was good to see the new faces there that we hadn't seen before. I was surprised at the turn out considering the conditions but I guess the old adage of a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work has some truth to it I mentioned a few times (to various people) that we should have a do over, since there were a good number of beginners that showed up for this tourney. I would really like to see some of the younger bow fishermen get a good day on the water, after the levels have gone down and there is a higher temp. I am in, if there is an interest in this. Maybe a LaDue over?. Arrival time at the knapp road boat launch We opted to walk the high banks across from the boat launch, where we could look down into the water. This is pretty much what we got to see We decided to make the best of it and do some clean up of the trash that was floating around. I think this one would have taken the biggest for the day Ended up having some pizza and calling it a day early. Still a good day, carp or no carp Lets hear who wants to do another get together for the kids later on.
